Embrace Pelvic Health, PLLC is looking to hire an experienced and compassionate pelvic floor physical therapist or pelvic floor occupational therapist who is comfortable treating all forms of pelvic floor dysfunction.

When: This is a part time position for 16-30 hours per week.

​

About us: We offer pelvic floor therapy to people of all genders with a focus on pregnancy and postpartum and pelvic pain. Embrace is physical therapist owned and operated. All treatments are 1 on 1 for an hour. Most treatments are in the office, with the possibility of telehealth visits. 

 

Location: The office is located in Davis Square close to the T. There is paid and some free parking nearby.

About you: We are looking for a professional, motivated, and compassionate physical or occupational therapist.

​

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy or occupational therapy program 

• Must have at least pelvic floor level 1 through the APTA or H&W

• Must possess an unrestricted, active license to practice physical therapy/occupational therapy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts 

• Must be flexible and able to integrate feedback

• Must possess effective communication skills to interact with colleagues, clients and their families, medical personnel

• Must have efficient documentation skills and willingness to learn our systems

• Must have a passion for pelvic health

• Ability to work afternoons and evenings is ideal

• Willingness to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive and compassionate evaluations and assessments of patients with pelvic floor concerns to develop personalized treatment plans

• Manage a pelvic health caseload

• Provide functional treatment

• Provide manual therapy as appropriate

• Provide documentation and home programs 

• Collaborate and coordinate client needs with all stakeholders

• Participate in marketing and blog writing

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research, techniques, and advancements in pelvic floor therapy to deliver the highest standard of care
